Jakarta (Djakarta News - ANTARA News) - The committee is selling 30,000 category III tickets to supporters of the national team (Timnas) which will compete in the second leg final of the AFF Suzuki Cup against Malaysia`s here on December 29, 2010.
Since Saturday night, the Timnas supporters had stood in queue waiting for the opening of the counter to buy tickets even if the window would be opened at 10 am on Sunday.
After all, the price of the category III tickets which were initially sold at Rp75,000 was reduced to Rp50,000 for next Wednesday`s Asean Football Federation (AFF)`s competition at the Bung Karno Main Stadium in Senayan.
Football lovers stood in queue waiting for the counter opening, packing sections of road on Jalan Asia-Afrika, TVRI and Gatot Subroto, causing traffic jams.
As a result of the traffic jams, the lane that leads to the Gate I of the Senayan Sports Stadium was closed while the traffic flow was diverted to the Asia-Afrika and TVRI sections.

Earlier, chief local organizer (LOC) Joko Driyono said that his side had prepared 76,871 tickets for the second leg final of the AFF Suzuki Cup between Indonesia and Malaysia.
Of the total tickets, the committee divided them into six seat categories, namely for VVIP, West Tribune VIP, East Tribune VIP, Category I, Category II and Category III.
The committee has been selling all of the ticket categories since several days ago.
All of the categories, except Category III, have been sold up.
Category III tickets are the last one sold to the public.
Category VVIP has a quota of 671 tickets, West Tribune VIP 2,700 tickets, East Tribune VIP 3,500 tickets, Category I 24,000 tickets, Category II 16,000 and Category III 30,000 tickets.
